KKR has replaced Tom Curren in the team at the base price of 1 crore rupees. 23-year-old fast bowler Curran made his international cricket career by playing in a T20 game against South Africa in June 2017.

South African fast bowler Kigiso Rabada will not be able to play in this IPL season due to a lower back pain. Because of back pain they have to be out of play for 3 months. Rabada, who played for Delhi Daredevils, was uncomfortable during the fourth Test match in Johannesburg against Australia.
