The difficulties of senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who was accused in the Delhi Police chargesheet, are going to increase in the wife Sunanda Pushkar’s death case.
Delhi Patiala House Court summoned her husband and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor as an accused in connection with Sunanda Pushkar Death Case. Tharoor has been summoned to appear as an accused on July 7. On May 24, the Delhi High Court sent this case before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Samar Vishal. The court had said that Tharoor is MP so the case is sent to (ACMM) Samar Vishal appointed for politicians.
Delhi Police had filed charge sheets against Tharoor on May 14 under section 306 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code to incite cruelty to the wife and commit suicide. The police had also mentioned Sunanda Pushkar’s email which she had sent to Tharoor nine days before the death and expressed her desire to die. Sunanda Pushkar wife of former union minister and senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, died in suspicious circumstances on November 17, 2014, at Hotel No. 95, Leela Palace, the five-star hotel in Chanakyapuri.
Medical Board of AIIMS did a post-mortem of Sunanda’s body. On 29 September 2014, the Medical Board submitted the report to the Delhi Police. It was said in the report that Sunanda has died from poison. The board had said that there are many such chemicals that become poison after getting into the stomach or after getting in the blood. So, it is very difficult to find out later their actual appearance.
