Pakistan army claims to demolish Indian Drones
The Pakistani army on Friday claimed that they had demolished India’s “Intelligence Drone”. Pakistan Army says that this drone was monitored in the POK near the LoC. Pakistan Army spokesperson tweeted a photo and informed about it
Pak Army spokesman Major General Asif Gaffur tweeted, “A watch squad of India was demolished by the Pakistan Army shooters while monitoring the LoC in the Rachachikari sector.” Earlier, Pakistan had talked of blowing the drone to America to acquire intelligence through its territory from the US. Soon after this, the Pakistan Army spokesman tweeted this. Earlier in the week, the Trump administration has said to consider the request of the Indian Armed Drone.
Pakistani Foreign Office spokesman Nafis Zakaria told reporters in Islamabad,
“Using Armed Drones can further worsen the situation between the two countries. At the time when there is a tension between the two countries, in such a way it is regrettable from India. “
The Pakistan Army spokesman says that this is not the first time that ‘Intelligence drones’ have been sent by India, Gaffur says that earlier this year also Major General Asim Bajwa had made such a claim.
It is the second time Pakistan army has shot down an Indian spying drone in a year.
In November last year, the Indian quadcopter was also shot down in Rakh Chakri sector of the Line of Control, the de-facto border between the two countries.
