Harley-Davidson is seeking interns – paid work experience to you and I – to ride its bikes for free and write about it on social media. The company’s named the scheme ‘Find Your Freedom’ and it sounds like a dream come true.
They’ll also get a crash course”in marketing at Harley-Davidson’s headquarters before taking their motorcycle on the road and to events and showcases, documenting the journey while taking photos and videos for Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter.
And you don’t even need any prior experience with motorbikes – the internship includes a motorcycle-training course. ‘We’ll teach you to ride, give you a bike and pay you to discover motorcycle culture while you find your freedom on the open road. And at the end of it all, you’ll get to keep a bike. Yep, you read that right. It’s yours,’ the job description reads.
You’ve got until 11 May to apply and the programme is open to uni students and graduates alike. All you’ve got to do is show Harley what freedom means to you, by whatever means you wish. It could be via a video, an essay, a photo collage – whatever.
