Many other organizations including the Karni army have not had any special on the earnings of Padmavat, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s film is performing well at the box office. The film ‘Padmavat’ has earned Rs 50 crore in two days. On the first day, where the film had earned 16-17 crores, on the second day i.e. January 26, the country’s collection of ‘Padmavat’ was around 32 crores. That’s where Paid Previews earned the film nearly 4 million. In such a scenario, Padmavat box office collection 2 days earns 50 crores.
On January 25, on the day the ‘Padmavat’ was released, 26 January Friday was more peaceful and due to the National Holiday, the film got more audience. Also the film was shown on the second day as compared to the first day.
On January 26, ‘Padmavat’ got full day in Bengaluru, which saw a 65 per cent growth in the film compared to the first day. The film, however, lost business of about 20 to 22 percent on the second day, which means that the film could have a business of 40 million on the second day, but due to protests and violence across the country, some people are still avoiding seeing ‘Padmavat’.
Mumbai Circuit’s business was the best in terms of earning Padmavat. Apart from Gujarat, the film has made 11 crores business in Mumbai alone. This means that the earnings of ‘Padmavat’ in Mumbai are equal to ‘Bahubali 2’. It is expected that the film will catch more speed on weekends and cross the figure of more than Rs 100 crore by Monday.
