Jammu-Kashmir: 6 died, 15 injured as bus falls into a ditch in Udhampur.
In Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge, killing six people in it. There were also reports of injuries to 15 passengers in this accident. The accident happened near Kuwa village on Udhampur-Ramnagar road and it is being told that this bus was going from Udhampur to Barot. It was a mini bus, according to the media reports that there were about 27 passengers. Relief and rescue operations are continuing at the accident site.

Earlier, 9 people were missing after the avalanche of the Kupwara district of Jammu Kashmir, out of which 8 bodies have been recovered. A passenger vehicle was trapped in the heavy avalanche on Friday near Sadhna Top on Kupwara-Tangdhar Marg. Three people have been evacuated from the ice spot. Relief rescue work is continuing at the scene.
Earlier in August, 10 people were killed and many others were injured when a vehicle fell into a deep ditch in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said that the accident happened at around 8.45 am on 9th August morning. When the driver lost control of the vehicle going to Rajouri from the district of Reasi district. Seven people died and eight others were injured on the spot due to falling into a deep gorge of the vehicle. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said that three seriously injured people later died.
