Google Doodle Celebrates Kamala Das: ‘Ami’ movies is going to release soon in Malayalam on Kamla Das’s life. Actor Manju will play Warrior Lead Role in the film directed by Kamal.
Google today is celebrating the book Malayalam-English writer Kamla Das (My Story)’. Google has created a doodle titled Celebrating Kamala Das and has honored this Indian writer. Kamala Das’s book ‘My Story’ was released today in 1976. Kamla Das has put into his poetry the sexuality of women and the freedom of his crime, so she became one of the best writers in the country. Born on March 31, 1934 in Punyamurakulam (Kerala), Kamala has written articles on issues such as women’s issues, childcare, politics and many issues. At the age of 75, he died on May 31, 2009 in Pune. Kamla Das also received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1984.

‘Ami’ movie is going to be released soon in Malayalam language on Kamla Das’s life. Actor Manju will play Warrior Lead Role in the film directed by Kamal. Prior to Manjoo, this role was offered to Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan, who had approved to play it. Vidya also started preparations for the film, and after the differences with the director, she made a distance from the film.

This biopic film ‘Aami’ made on the life of Kamala Das after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavat’ remains in controversy. It is believed that love jihad has been supported in the film. Due to this, an application has been filed against the film in the Kerala High Court. It has been said that love jihad has been deliberately glorified in the film.
