Ustad Bismillah Khan always worked for Ganga-Jamuni Tahajib. He was associated with Kashi Vishwanath temple. When the wife died, the life became lonely. He used to say that his bedam is only clarinet. Everyone was convinced of his personality. Indira Gandhi listened to her by giving them an invitation. The special thing is that when the country was free, then in 1947, after blowing a flag on the Red Fort, they shouted cloths of clarinet. Bismillah got the Music Natya Academy Award in 1956 itself.
