In fact, worship on Dhanteras is done not only for Goddess Lakshmi but also for Kuber, it is worshiped, which is the god of wealth. In many families, goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber are worshiped on Dhanteras, because it doubles the benefits of prayers sought by God.

On this day, Yama is given a special lamp and the long life of your loved ones is prayed. On this day, the light of the dough is lit all day, so that Yama forgives all the bad sequences. According to legendary beliefs for this day, a legend is prevailing that a patriarch wife used this remedy to return her husband and returned her to Yama. Therefore, it is believed that Dhanteras is a day for the worshipping of the mind more than money.
