Aarushi Murder Case: Talwar couple’s plea today at Allahabad Court
In the much-talked-about Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, Allahabad High Court Rajesh and Nupur Talwar could hear the verdict on the appeal. The Talwar couple had appealed to the High Court against the decision of the CBI court. On November 26, 2013, Rajesh and Nupur were sentenced to life imprisonment by the CBI court. On the midnight of May 15-16, 2008, Aarushi’s body was found in the bed of her house in Noida. After this one such dramatic incident came to light that the whole case turned into a criminal crime thriller film. Nobody knew what would be the next moment in it. Aarushi was studying in Noida’s famous DPS, her death shocked the neighbors along with the whole country.
Everything was done so vicious way that it was difficult to think of who could be the killer. Shortly after the murder, the servant of the house Hemraj was accused of the murder. But the next day when Hemraj’s body was found on the roof of the house, the whole matter came to a new turning point. The police continued to boast as always that soon the case of double murder would be settled.
The Denial of Honor Killing :
Noida police claimed in a sensational way that the murderer of Aarushi-Hemraj was none other than his father Dr. Rajesh Talwar. The police kept the plea of Honor Killing behind this theory. On May 23, 2008, the police arrested Rajesh Talwar for his daughter’s murder. But till then there had been such a turning point in the case that this case of murder had become a blind case.
Doubt had on the servants :
On May 31, 2008, the investigation of the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case was transferred to the CBI. Doctor Rajesh Talwar was behind bars on charges of murder. Aarushi case was headlined across the country. Talwar’s Narco test happened. The needle of suspicion went away from the sword and reached the servants and compounders. Rajkumar, a servant of Durrani family close to the Talwar family, was arrested.
CBI closure report :
Meanwhile, Talwar had spent 50 days in prison and then they got bail. Two years later in 2010, the CBI filed closure reports. The hearings continued and then the needle of suspicion again stuck on the Talwar couple in the form of allegations. Ghaziabad Court convicted Talwar couple for the removal of evidence. Allegations of involvement in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case were decided against both of them.
Talwar couple gets life imprisonment:
Four years after the double murder, in 2012, Aarushi’s mother Nupur Talwar had to surrender in court and then go to jail. After watching all the evidence and evidence in November 2013, the CBI court convicted Aarushi’s father Rajesh and mother Nupur Talwar for the crime of murdering them. They were sentenced to life imprisonment. With this, the curtain fell on the country’s most sensational murder mystery.
